Desk Vise
thingiverse
This is a compact desktop vise I created for a project and personal use, requiring some assembly time. At full scale, it measures approximately 6 x 4 inches and features 2.75 inches of travel distance. To build this vise, you will need a 6-inch 3/8-inch fully threaded bolt, two 3/8-inch nuts, and I utilized two metal washers with two nylon washers against the base of the vise for added stability. The nut securing the slide along with the knob must be glued in place. Additionally, I chose to apply glue to lock the back nut firmly in position to prevent it from coming loose over time. I have included files for a replaceable grooved block and a blank block for your convenience. For my prototype, I opted to print the vise using PLA at 30% infill density and 1.6mm wall thickness settings.
With this file you will be able to print Desk Vise with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Desk Vise.
