Desk Standoff

Desk Standoff

thingiverse

I got fed up with cables and plugs jamming themselves between my desks and walls, so I created these standoffs.\r\n\r\nThey quickly release when snapped apart, and I use two per desk.\r\nThey come together in a cluster for easier storage in tool bags.\r\nScrew these into the back edge of a desk using Size 8 or Size 10 screws (1-1½ inch length should be sufficient), drilling pilot holes first if the wood is dense to prevent splitting.\r\n\r\nThis allows a two inch buffer between the desk and the wall, giving your cables plenty of room to move freely, and preventing them from getting crushed or pinched.
