Desk Speaker Stand

Desk Speaker Stand

A versatile desktop stand designed for 5-inch class monitors or bookshelf speakers effectively optimizes speaker placement. By elevating the speaker off the desk, it frees up space and cleverly angles it upwards at a precise 15 degrees, ensuring optimal sound projection directly towards the listener. The stand's footprint comfortably accommodates speakers with a standard 6.5 inches square base, commonly found in speakers featuring a 5-inch main driver. As seen in the accompanying photos, this design successfully supports a pair of Polk Audio R15's. No specialized print settings are required for production. I employed AMZ3D grey PLA at a 0.2mm layer height with 20% cubic infill to achieve optimal results. To further enhance stability and protect surfaces during high-volume playback, small self-adhesive felt or cork dots can be applied to the bottom and top surfaces of the stand, serving as effective feet that prevent vibrations.
