This project centers around a NodeMCU Esp8266 board. A PCD8544 display, a 5mm photodiode, a buzzer and a DS18B20 temperature sensor all come together in the sensor unit. The parts fit snugly into the 3D printed body and are held firmly in place by a small amount of hot glue. No screws or adhesive are required for the lids. A hole for a DC power jack is located in the back.
