The layout executes multiple functions common to a standard desk organizer, but incorporates an added feature - magazine holders on both sides. Two storage drawers and two compartments for pencils, pens, scissors are featured, along with one open compartment suitable for larger items such as phones, keys & glasses. Moreover, there are two holes designed to accommodate a charging cable for a phone. This design boasts unique characteristics in the form of expandable magazine holders that protrude from the sides of the organizer. When not utilized, these holders retract into the main body of the organizer by sliding their ends into the side. Upon use, the holder end can be pulled out to a desired distance between 0-17.5 cm (6.89 in). Files, magazines or loose paper can be stored within. The design functions via rails attached to the holder ends that track underneath the bottom of the organizer body. These rails are intricately interlaced to enable effortless sliding of the holder ends to the sides of the organizer when not in use.
