Problem: Students and teachers alike are finding that they are using common areas, like the kitchen table, as workspaces. This requires them to remain organized and still be able to clear the common area in preparation for activities like eating meals. Design: The design includes a paper stand on the side for organization, a latched lid and two compartments. Each compartment can be used for writing utensils and other small office supplies. Conclusion: Overall, during the process of designing this product, there weren't really any problems present. The only problem that we came across was time management. If we could design this again, we would like to implement a drawer. We would also like to make the product look much more presentable. 3D printing would help strengthen our design by not only bring it to life but also prove that the design would make office work much more organized.
