Desk Organizer

thingiverse

This desk organizer has just about everything a student would need while doing work or in a class. It has slots to hold notebooks, holes int he top left to hold pencils and pens, a little side compartment for erasers, paper clips, or whatever is necessary, and most importantly, a phone stand because what kid doesn't have a phone with them during class or doing work. There is tons of space on the side of the phone stand to have a laptop. All in all, this desk organizer is a simple, however efficient design, and who doesn't like some simplicity in their life? Some issues I came across were the size of things. It was hard to try and create a project that would adhere to the size of the grid plate. If I had to change anything about the project, I would like to have a laptop holder in the organizer. I was not able to do this because of the size of the grid plate I was using. I believe 3D printing will help strengthen my design by showing the benefits of the organizer in person when it might be harder to see over a screen. #studentchallenge
