1/17/2017: My friends at school correctly pointed out that I had missed one of the remix challenge collection pieces - it wasn't included in the source files. I modified the PCB workstation to function as the ball joints, making a crucial update. It's puzzling why the Desk O Bot design was left out of the collection; it remains my favorite so far. 1/3/2017: Assembly instructions are being developed as we speak. 1/1/2017: The part files should work together seamlessly. Please inform me if you encounter any issues, so I can refine them for improvement. I suggest using supports on the Bottom.STL and foot.stl to ensure smooth printing. Future plans include adding printable accessories such as Hats, Mustaches, Eyebrows, Eyelids, and many more. Thanks to all my friends who assisted with printing and photography - your help was invaluable. Post-Printing: I used a product called Contour Putty to fill in the foot pieces. This substance is similar to Bondo but air dries and takes longer to set. After it had dried, I employed 100 grit sandpaper to smooth out the surfaces. All parts were further sanded up to 220 grit for painting. I applied a base coat of Black paint to all inner surfaces, then used dry brushing to apply Silver, creating a worn metal appearance. The body pieces received a base color - White as shown in the image. A 5mm LED from an old toy was repurposed and used as a friction fit light source. Only the leg pieces required glue: washers and pins were attached to the calves and thighs, then the calf was secured to the foot and the thigh to the ball.
