Desk Mount For Hanging Lamp w/ Shade

I needed a lamp above my desk and didn't want to hang one from the wall or ceiling. The flange mounts to my desk behind my monitor. Cut the dowel rod in two making one piece longer than the other. Using the longest part out of the flange for height and the shorter to angle out over the desk. You will need a 1/2" x 36" dowel rod, a hanging lamp cord and an led light bulb. I had Spax #8 1 1/4" screws left over from another project so the flange is modeled for them but I'm sure will work with almost any screw. Note Depending on your hanging lamp cord I provided a clip for round cable and flat cable. Also do not use regular incandescent bulbs because of heat. You can use CFL that is less than 60w but I recommend the Great Value Led bulbs. Print the lamp shade with 0% infill and everything else at 15-20%. Will work with my PacMan light shades as well or any lamp shade made with the Fusion 360 Lampshade Tutorial. I am making a ring for the hanging lamp cords that are not threaded so the lamp shade doesn't slide down onto the bulb.
