Desk Lamp Wall Mount
thingiverse
I received an exceptional desk lamp, specifically an Artemide Toledo model, as a gift from my stepmother several years ago, and recently I purchased a brand new work desk for my home workspace. The IKEA Alex desk is truly fantastic; it boasts a sleek design and innovative cable management features. Unfortunately, there was no provision on this desk to accommodate my cherished desk lamp, so I took matters into my own hands. This solution enables me to securely fasten my lamp to the wall adjacent to my new desk. It's an ingenious way to maximize space while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key Specifications: I used 20% infill, a 0.25mm layer thickness, and approximately 80mm/sec printing speed on my printrbot Simple Metal when producing this piece. The outcome was exceptional – strong, durable, and visually appealing. Tips and Tricks: For optimal results, print at the recommended settings: 20% infill, 0.25mm line height, and a robust 0.8mm wall thickness. To install the component on your wall, use two reliable 4mm screws. Estimated printing time was slightly over three hours, but it's undeniable that this method is far faster than embarking on a trip to the hardware store in search of alternative solutions.
