Desk Lamp
thingiverse
Just a simple minimalistic desk lamp. What you will need in addition to the printed parts: 2 x 20mm x 30cm wooden rods (you can vary the length) 1 x GU10 lamp holder 2m (or more) red sleeved cable 1x standard flick switch (19x13mm) 2 x M6 bolts (choose the head style you like) 2x M6 nuts 2x springs that fit around the bolts (TPU spacers might also work, did not try this though) 1x wallplug about 600g of concrete basic soldering skills Printed parts: 1x base 1x CableClipBracket 1x standart bracket 2x "winkelbrackethole"** 1x "lampenschirm" **this has a bigger hole to fit the screws I am using. It also allows a bit more movement. Assembly should be pretty self explaining, start by pouring the concrete into the base so you can print the rest while it is curing. This project involves wiring that should be performed by trained professionals. I will not provide any further information on this because it should be done according to your country's safety standards. You will need to drill the hole in the back of the base for the cable. This is just so you can decide what diameter you choose there. Regarding the properties of PLA you should ONLY USE LEDs inside this lamp. The user "eisenherzele" (https://www.thingiverse.com/eisenherzele) sent me some modified versions of the legs that feature holes for M6 nuts. Those files are marked with M6-NUT. He also made a remix using aluminium tubes and an Ikea Lamp, that you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4698680 If you need the ipt files just write a comment.
With this file you will be able to print Desk Lamp with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Desk Lamp.
