Desk Hole replacement Part / Cosmetic Cover

You're familiar with that cable management hole in desks. It's a real pain when the plastic ring snaps, revealing the particle board beneath. That's exactly what happened here - the ring broke off, exposing the desk's inner workings. This custom part is designed to cover up those unsightly gaps and give your workspace a more polished look. You can customize its dimensions to fit your specific needs: * ID of the hole: choose the diameter that suits your cable management system * Wiggle room for the ID: add some extra space for easy cable insertion * Wall thickness: select the perfect balance between durability and aesthetics * Rim width: control the size of the ring's outer edge * Rim Thickness: determine how substantial you want the ring to be * Depth of the hole: decide on the optimal depth for your cables Since I'm still learning OpenSCAD, I had to draw inspiration from other sources to create this design. When it's finally in use, I'll share some photos to show how it fits together. If anyone knows a way to add rounded corners to this design, please let me know and help me take it to the next level!
