I've created a desk organizer using salvaged materials from old hard drives, including metal frames and strong magnets. My goal was to design something functional and aesthetically pleasing for tinkering and working projects. To do this, I took advantage of the metal components by attaching magnets to them. To assemble the product, attach one magnet to a small wooden frame using glue, and then stick it onto any metallic surface you desire. This can include refrigerators and whiteboards. The durability comes from the solid magnetic connections. Other ideas are feasible as well; for instance, you could adapt this concept into a bottle holder. Although some minor warping occurred initially, improvements can be anticipated when using blue masking tape.
