desk/fridge/metal thing addon rack - magnet edition
thingiverse
I've created a desk organizer using salvaged materials from old hard drives, including metal frames and strong magnets. My goal was to design something functional and aesthetically pleasing for tinkering and working projects. To do this, I took advantage of the metal components by attaching magnets to them. To assemble the product, attach one magnet to a small wooden frame using glue, and then stick it onto any metallic surface you desire. This can include refrigerators and whiteboards. The durability comes from the solid magnetic connections. Other ideas are feasible as well; for instance, you could adapt this concept into a bottle holder. The software Tinkercad was used to create the design, and you can view it online here: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/j37GKr3HzRV Printing Options - No raft should be applied during printing - Support material is unnecessary - A moderate level of resolution is required - At least 20% infill density is recommended Design Details This project was crafted with special green-colored PLA, adding a vibrant touch. Although some minor warping occurred initially, improvements can be anticipated when using blue masking tape.
