Desk Drawer Underside

I got a fancy electric desk recently from IKEA. When browsing for drawers, it turned out they are around $100 so I made one myself. It is a sturdy drawer that organizes my glasses, Airpods, wallet and keys. About the printing process

It is printed with 3mm wall thickness to make it very sturdy.

My printer, Prusa MK3s has a build volume of 250x200x200, this print maxes it out.

The support gets loose and bends on the edges, but it worked out in my print.

The drawer itself took around 16h to print, each rail 3h.

The rails have to be printed diagonally to fit.

Assembly

The assembly requires 6 wood screws, I used 3.0 x 15 this is also what the holes are dimensioned for.

First, mount the left rail.

Second, insert the drawer.

Third, add the right rail and slowly screw in the screws.

Fourth, for the last screw in the front the drawer needs to be pulled out all the way.
