Desk Drawer
thingiverse
Designed using TinkerCad I love speeding prints up as much as possible and not using supports I have seen many very good under desk drawers on Thingiverse, but I am not patient! Some take as long as 2 days to print! The shortest I think was still 18 hours for all the parts needed. (Those are my Cura times as I sliced them at 80mm speed, 15% infill with .2) I designed this to print fast, still be strong and mount with either tape or screws. I used plain wood screws which can be found at any hardware. #6x3/4". I believe that is a 3.5mm diameter x 19mm There is a drawer, a mount choice, a drawer stop and a few face plates with different designs if wanted. The drawer has a finger hole to open the drawer if not using a faceplate. The stops just get pushed into the holes on the side of the drawer to stop the drawer from coming out. They can be removed to pull the drawer back out if needed. The faceplates are just decorative. They are larger than the drawer so they give a lip at the bottom edge to pull the drawer open, since they cover the finger hole. A tiny amount of super glue holds them on very well. The faceplate should be level with the top edge of the drawer and hang down below the bottom edge to give you the lip at the bottom to open the drawer with. - Print the drawer flat with no supports - Print the Drawer flat with no supports - Print 2 of the stops pointing up with no supports - Choose a faceplate to print and print flat side down Settings I used: Layer height .2 PLA at 210c Bed at 60c 15% infill 80mm speed No supports I hope you enjoy!
