These are a few examples of spinning tops I designed specifically to accompany a design-thinking project aimed at introducing 3D design to an eighth-grade class, yet it's an accessible lesson suitable for many other grade levels as well. I invite you to create your own unique design or use mine as a starting point - some designs may print more easily than others, and their performance will vary, but that's entirely up to you to discover!
