Design Kitchen Scale
thingiverse
This project focuses on creating a precision kitchen scale through innovative design. The entire scale is optimized for 3D printing using FDM technology, allowing all parts to be printed without any support materials. The cover and case components can be easily printed on standard-sized 3D printers with a 200 x 200 mm print area. The electronics component of the scale is based on an Arduino microcontroller paired with a cost-effective weight cell in conjunction with a HX711 weight cell controller. When utilizing the recommended power circuit, the device draws zero power from the battery when idle and may automatically shut off when not in use. One of the key features of this kitchen scale is its ability to display any desired weight unit, and it can be calibrated through software without requiring re-programming for optimal performance.
