Desiccant Hexbox

A Basic Parametric Vented Box for Holding Desiccant to Take Care of Your Filament. I really like Malolo's Silica Gel / Desiccant Containers but I had a few issues to address. One main point is that I wanted to get more desiccant in without having to print so high, as that tends to be much slower than going wide. Also I wanted to try to be sure to give some good surface area, and to fit in the large box I started keeping my filament in. My first cut at 100mm x 15mm ended up fitting about 97 grams of desiccant, so that seemed like a fair start. Update: Added a 75mm x 10mm version. Holds around 40 grams, which turns out to be a handy addition. Update Mar 22: Added clip-on standoffs to allow the box to be raised up for better airflow and stability. Print 2 to stand a box vertically, and 3 to lift it up horizontally. Update Apr 14: Picked up some more filament for PPE for a few medical personnel we know. Need to be sure to keep it stored properly so went to print more desiccant holders, but did a vertical variant to make them easier to fill more completely. Of course, that does slow printing by about 50%. Update Jun 7: Added a test to see how different gaps do for your printer and your desiccant. Variants have gaps of 1.4, 1.2, 1, 0.8, and 0.6. (The default is 1.4)
