Desiccant Container - Vase Mode down to 51mm spool hole
thingiverse
The original is a great design, prints fast, uses very little filament. I shrunk it down to 93% on x and y, so it now fits inside of spools with holes down to 51mm in diameter, since the originals were too large to fit. I redesigned the lid by reinforcing it on the inside, and adding a tab to assist in opening by pushing with your thumb. This was due to the vase-mode lids self-destructing when opening jars. I have included the scaled down container file with this thing, but it is huge, as I exported it from Cura and it kept way too many surface faces. Instead, just download and use the one from the original and scale it to 93% in the x and Y (after rotating it to stand on it's end for printing), so it's x and y end up just a bit over 51mm. As a bonus, since the lids aren't vase mode anymore, you can print a batch of them at once and save a bit of time. Only print one first, make sure it fits wll, scale accordingly in your slicer if it's too tight.
