The box is designed to store desiccant materials like blue silica gel, which helps maintain dryness. It measures 100 mm x 50 mm x 14 mm with a 1.5mm wall thickness and features a snap-on lid for secure closure. This size box offers effective protection against rust and moisture, equivalent to a typical 4" x 2" x 1/2" perforated aluminium boxes often bundled with drying agents. By storing the box in an enclosed space, approximately 3 cubic feet can be safeguarded from corrosion and atmospheric dampness. For assembly, use Slic3r version 1.1.7 on a Lulzbot TAZ to print this model. Include stl files for boxes both with and without corner pads that prevent warping. Additionally, OpenSCAD source code is available, allowing users to modify the box dimensions according to their needs.
