Do you want to modify a design and don't know how. We can help and often work for free, email us to ask. See the contact details on our webpage. For more of my designs check out my website: https://3domcontact.wixsite.com/3dom Don't forget if you print something we have shared, to share your story and photos with us in return. This is a container designed to hold 3-5 mm desiccant beads. This is modeled after a dehumidifier that I bought that was supposed to regenerate in six to twelve hours when plugged into power. I quickly found that it wasn't properly regenerating in a week. So I designed my own box to hold the same amount of beads and planned to regenerate them in the oven. This version is designed to open along the long axis the same as the purchased part, when I disassembled it. I eventually realized that this limited the amount of beads it could hold by half (of course), so I redesigned it in my next version - here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3930725 If you would liek to see my version 3 - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3930740 Print instructionsCategory: Containers Summary Do you want to modify a design and don't know how. The beads that I buy come Blue and change to a light pink as they get saturated. Print with the large flat sides to the print bead. There is not need for supports. Post-Printing Assembly The printed parts need assembly. I prefer to use tie wire that I have on hand. The hinge simply needs to be aligned and a wire or similar material threaded through. The hole is 2mm
