I'm really proud of this desert model I made, it looks super realistic. The trees at the front are genuine and the ones in the background have a simple texture overlayed on them. To give it that extra touch, I set up my basic light setup with some lights focused on the water to make it shine like the real thing. The sand texture was even created from scratch in Cinema 4D. It took me around four hours to get this all put together. I used a combination of physical sky and light emitter for the lighting. This model consists of a whopping 31,434 polygons and 36,286 points.
