The Desert Eagle! One of my go-to handguns that I chose to recreate. This little side project was sparked after a character model gave me a hard time. I had a blast making it, but I'll be honest - I underestimated just how tough it would be. Initially, I aimed for a poly count of 2.6K and tried baking in the divots on the top of the gun, but that only added more frustration than it was worth. Despite this, I'm pretty thrilled with the final topo and texturing - it was an awesome challenge!
