Human: Descent Token Containers ========================== I sought a better way to manage my descent tokens, so I created these containers. They offer easy access to the tokens and keep them all organized. Currently, I own only the base game and Shadow of Nerekhall, so I designed the trays to accommodate more tokens in the future if I purchase additional expansions. The small token container features four trays with spacers available every five tokens. The large token container boasts two circle trays and one octagon tray, with spacers available every four tokens. The octagon tray is designed specifically for octagon-shaped familiar tokens but also accommodates standard circle tokens. Fitting Together ---------------- The containers are crafted to stay together with a snug friction fit. Initially, they will be difficult to open and close. You may need to open and close them several times before it becomes easier. I added a key slot on each end to make opening them simpler if needed. Spacers ------- The spacers are designed to be press-fit into the holes in the bottom half of the container. They fit securely but should go in with minimal effort. OpenSCAD Settings ----------------- If I decide to upload the OpenSCAD code that created these containers, this is the settings required to reproduce them. Update - March 24, 2018 I modified the bottom design after my brother complained that it wouldn't sit on top without being knocked off. Now, the bottom stackably locks onto the top when stacked and pushed together. Hopefully, this modification works well for you. I would appreciate feedback from others regarding print quality. I have another X-wing design planned for release but want to ensure it prints well before sharing the code. If it performs well, I will upload the SCAD file, allowing others to create their own token containers using the code. -- Large Token Container Settings tokensList = [["circle", 25.7], ["octagon", 25.7], ["circle", 25.7]]; number_of_tokens_per_group = 20; number_of_tokens_between_spacers_default = 4; -- Small Token Container Settings tokensList = [["circle", 19.7], ["circle", 19.7], ["circle", 19.7], ["circle", 19.7]]; number_of_tokens_per_group = 20; number_of_tokens_between_spacers = 5;
