Descent II - Reactor 05
thingiverse
A fifth reactor uncovered in Descent II showcases an unconventional design that necessitates some fine-tuning to achieve a smooth print, for those inclined to do so. I've included both the standard model with its irregular floating components and impossible connections, as well as a modified version featuring enhanced connectivity between select parts, providing printers with a bridge between individual elements. Results may vary. This reactor was extracted from the 1996 PC first-person shooter Descent II. The model has been revised to improve compatibility with 3D printing, including the closure of open faces and the fusion of all loose components. Don't forget, if you appreciate Descent, be sure to check out Overload, crafted by the same creative team.
