Descent 2nd Edition - Complete collection storage solution
thingiverse
ADDED: A collection of cards has been added as a header for each class for easy sorting (Class_Cards_X.pdf) EDIT: I have just added a new version of the "Quest and classes" box after the announcement of the new expansion "Lost Legends" from FFG. The new box has 10 additional slots for the new classes. EDIT: A modified version of the main box body has been added so you can print it with a smaller build volume (each part of the box is roughly 160*160mm). You can find it in the thing files, it's MainBox_Body_Back and MainBox_Body_Front. Supports will be needed to print this version. Here is my storage solution for the complete Descent v2 collection (minus the conversion kit). This first box, out of four, is designed to contain everything needed to play in co-op against the app (cards, tokens and dices from all existing add-ons and extensions). The box has been designed to reduce the setup time as much as possible. You basically put it on the table, open it, and it's playable. It will contain the following elements: - Condition cards and tokens - Loot, Item I, Item II and Artifact cards - Heroes tokens and turn summary cards - Secret rooms cards - Villagers tokens - Loot tokens - White, red, blue and green objective tokens - Challenge tokens - The Sun Stone token - Raythen & Serena allies tokens and class cards - Ennemies cards - Lieutenants cards - Hit point and fatigue tokens - Dices The second box contains everything required for the overlord player: - Overlord decks - Agent decks and threat tokens - Road and city events - Rumor cards - Servants cards and tokens - Tainted cards - Corrupt citizen cards - Advanced quests cards - Influence tokens - Infector tokens - Inactive monster tokens - Monster tokens The third box contains everything for characters and quests: - Character sheets - Class cards and tokens - Familiar cards and tokens - Quest cards The last box contains all the smaller tiles and door (end caps, extenders, crumbling rocks, secret tiles, etc...) All the boxes have been designed to handle sleeved cards. I use a binder and customized plastic pockets to store all the tiles. A railing system has also been used to create a foamboard box to store all the minis (see the pictures). The end goal of the project is to create a wooden box/trunk to store everything created, including the rule books, so that it can be stored safely and carried around. If you have any experience with CNC, and want to help with the project, feel free to contact me. This design will always be free, and it will NOT be posted to MyMiniFactory or Etsy (this is the only "legitimate" place to download it) but if you like my work, feel free to tip me, it will pay for printer's upgrades and filaments to create more content for other boardgames.
