A simple printable version of the derringer rubber band gun from rbguns.com can be created by reducing the number of parts and smoothing out some edges. The redesigned barrels are more realistic with rifled barrel and a fake safety lever added. The full "Derringer" file contains all the parts, requiring a 20x20 cm base for assembly. Smaller printer files are also available separately. Rainbow loom rubber bands can be used as ammunition. In addition to rubber bands, two steel nails with a diameter of 2mm and length of 24mm are required. A 40mm rubber band is needed to use it as the recovery spring for the hammer. A ballpen spring chopped in half is also necessary - one piece will go inside the barrel hole (21mm) while the other will be used in the trigger.
