DepthKit Kinect Camera Offset Plate
thingiverse
A handy adapter plate that lets you easily shift your DSLR camera back when using longer lenses, perfect for situations where a few lenses obstruct the Kinect during filming. The print itself requires minimal to no support, and can be printed on its side at 100% infill. It features a slot that fits snugly into the DepthKit's 50mm aluminum bar, allowing for added stability with a 1/4" through bolt - simply tap it gently with a tack hammer until the inner edge is flush with the aluminum bar's edge. The adapter also uses the original 1/4" bolt to reattach the camera mount on top, courtesy of Manfrotto. For more information on this project, check out http://www.depthkit.tv/.
