Depth Guage Stand

Depth Guage Stand

thingiverse

This is a depth gauge stand for Replicator 1, Replicator 2, or Wanhao Duplicator 4 3D printers. It can likely be customized to work with any box-type FFF printer where the extruder is mounted on two parallel rails. The bridge sits on these rails and a depth gauge fits through the middle hole, allowing for quick height readings of the build plate. UPDATE: I tried it out and it kinda works but doesn't wrap around the rails nicely and needs some pressure. However, the necessary pressure bends the rails too much. Instead, I used a piece of wood with a hole drilled in it. Print Settings Rafts: No Raft is Needed Supports: No Supports Are Necessary Infill: Enough to be Rigid Notes: Print upside down so that the top part remains flat and overhangs do not occur.
