A wooden carving of the Virgin Mary displays remnants of colorful paint, once part of a larger scene depicting the Descent from the Cross, which likely consisted of seven figures: Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, John the Evangelist, Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus and two robbers. The Virgin stands with her left hand grasping the right arm of Christ, while her right hand gathers blood draining from his crucified wound using a container of some sort.
