Denkmal / Memorial "Je suis Paris"

Denkmal / Memorial "Je suis Paris"

In memory of the terrorist attacks against Paris on November 13th, 2015, I created a memorial with a plaque bearing the inscription "Je suis Paris". However, the font on the plaque doesn't look as good in real life as it did on my TV screen, so you may want to change it if you can and feel like it. The Eiffel Tower plaque is based on this model, which I found online. You can see it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1276837. I'd like to give credit to the creator of that model. If you're interested in creating your own versions of this and other models, you can find a tutorial on how to do so on my blog at https://haifischdruckt.wordpress.com. Print Settings: * Printer: bq Hephestos 2 * Rafts: Yes * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.05 up to 0.1 mm * Infill: 10% Notes: * Print the plaque in three parts, starting with the inscription and pausing at the beginning of the text. * Next, print the base without supports, changing filaments twice for the middle and upper structures. * Finally, print the Eiffel Tower itself, pausing after the small plateau. Try to get as fine a resolution as possible (0.05 mm) for the tower's details, but you can use 0.1 mm for the rest of the model. Keep in mind that there will be many threads on the tower due to its intricate design. Simply grinding them away should make it look great. You can secure it with double-sided glue tape and place it wherever you like. As for why I'm not providing exact high values for filament changes and pauses, it's because this is a project meant for my blog tutorial. You'll learn how to use the necessary software and programs by figuring things out yourself - no magic tricks here!
