Dendro is a set of 3D graphic modules that convert standard Rhino geometry into meshes sort of like the meshes that form STL files. But Dendro has lots of options that allow you to do things like smooth corners, merge multiple meshes into one, and more. This is my first use of Dendro, and the results not only saved a lot of design time, but produced what I think is a very nice result. As you would expect, I designed this part in 2 separate pieces: the upper/top/curvy part, and the 5 feet. The actual design of the upper part has sharp corners and flat outside surfaces, but Dendro rounded off the corners and produced a smooth curvy outside surface with no sharp edges. It also made a smooth transition between the top of the 5 feet and the bottom of the top. This part printed in just under 3 hours using a print speed of 100 mm/sec and layer height of 0.203 mm. To avoid breakage the 5 feet require careful removal from the print bed: I used a small beveled scraper to carefully free each foot individually.
