Denco Coil
thingiverse
Harry Lythall posts a remake of Denco Coil on his website; http://sm0vpo.altervista.org/3d/denco_sub_01.htm On his site, he provides all necessary details for calculating and winding these coils. Quote: Harry Lythall "Denco made RF antenna, oscillator, and IF coils for superheterodyne receivers that covered 150kHz through to 31MHz. These coils served as the foundation for many school and college training programs in designing, assembling, and aligning superhet receivers. They came with ranges for valves (tubes) and transistors. The coils were packaged in an aluminum tin with a screw-top lid that also functioned as a screening container for the coils in use." End Quote Because I found it to be an engaging project, I decided to recreate it in a similar manner to the original (Standard Noval Socket B9A) and two heights.
