Demon Lord of WORMS A Gargantuan-sized Demon Lord model for 28mm games, including pre-designed electronics mountings to make the eyes glow if desired. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base, with modifications to accommodate the electronics. The Demon Lord of Worms is a demonic Grim-Reaper, if said Reaper stood nearly 40’ tall and was composed entirely of writhing worms! Adorned in tattered robes and hood, he brandishes his gigantic bladed spiked mace menacingly while reaching out with an outstretched worm-hand. His eyes glow menacingly with unholy light, as he hungers to consume the flesh of any who might dare oppose him. At almost 7 inches tall, the model is of course hollow, and printed in several parts, so some assembly is required. You may also want to print in two different types of resin: something opaque for most of the pieces, and a translucent red (or whatever color you want the eyes to glow) for the led light mount. It has been designed to accommodate a simple $5 lighting kit from Evans Design.com (link and instructions are provided). Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed. The Demon Lord of Worms was sculpted to serve as the Big Bad End-Game Boss for a friend’s AGE OF WORMS D&D campaign. He is available nowhere else but right here!
