This design takes its cue from the Demon hunter in Diablo III, a demon hunter being the fifth and final playable class to be unveiled at Blizzcon in 2010. The Demon hunter is a ranged class that relies on crossbows as their primary weapon, supplementing them with numerous ranged attacks, traps of various kinds, and even a few melee skills that operate at range. In this piece, I've depicted the demon hunter facing off against an undead creature attempting to claw its way through the earth in order to reach her. The demon hunters are a group of fanatical warriors dedicated solely to the destruction of the creatures from the Burning Hells. They make their home in the Borderlands, beyond the jurisdiction of any nation. At any time, more than half of them can be found fighting hellspawn across various parts of the world. There is something within all demon hunters that gives them the strength to resist the demonic corruption that would drive lesser men to madness. This power is honed by demon hunters, who use their resistance to the taint to harness the demons' power as a weapon. However, it's not just their mission and their power that binds them together - they also share a deep sense of camaraderie and brotherhood.
