"demibot" printed drone skids (topmount)

These are the topmount version of the skids from the "demibot" frame skins bundle. These look beefy but it is deceiving because they are hollow on the bottom. The bulk of the tpu is at the front and rear where most impacts happen. These skids come up just below the motor bells to help keep bando grit out. They are designed so that in an impact the skids and the props take the hit instead of the motor bell. The engineering behind these skids and the bottom mount ones is that the tpu goes inbetween the horns on the arm ends which spreads the impact over more surface than if only the leading edge was protected. This keeps the horns from taking the hit and delaminating. The horns on the frame arms are still visible from below which is where an observer would be. There is a notch designed into the part that supports the frame from below which stops sagging on landing.  consider donating a couple dollars so I can keep bringing you parts
