DeMagnetising Tool
thingiverse
I designed the tool, but I outsourced its development to another party. The specifications for printing were drawn up by me. Check out this thread on magnetizing and demagnetizing tools: http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/magnetising-demagnetising-tools-72924#post133690. I purchased strong magnetic discs from eBay, a total of 5-10-25 pieces with a diameter of 12mm x 6mm. They're N52 rare earth neodymium magnets, extremely powerful and compact. I superglued them in place along with the cover. The tool is designed for use in a drill press and functions flawlessly. You can find similar magnetic discs on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-10-25pc-12mm-x-6mm-1-2-x-1-4-N52-Strong-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Magnet-Disc/302030266388?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=600826135333&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
