Deluxe Wasp Trap - from Peanut Jar

Upcycle an Aldi Southern Grove peanut jar into a Deluxe Wasp Trap by transforming it into a lethal snare for pesky wasps. Attach a Bottle Feeder Hook to the top using super glue, or print the version featuring built-in holes for tying on a string. Alternatively, simply position it near where the wasp swarm is most intense. You can opt for a budget-friendly approach and insert a small funnel from the dollar store into a jar, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun as printing something cool like this. Please use bait that won't attract honey bees, such as rotting meat or fish during spring when wasps are searching for protein, and a mix of sugar, vinegar, and salt later in the year. Printer Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.16 - 0.20 mm Infill: 25% Notes: Designed by Gazorpa with a nod to Derek Zoli and Itz Mar for their incredible designs, this wasp trap is crafted for strength, aesthetics, and printability. The cap is sized for PLA, so you might need to scale up about 0.8% when printing in ABS to avoid a tight fit. The threads (yellow band in photo) were created using my own OpenSCAD bit. I imported the mesh into 123D Design and patched it up with Netfabb Basic. The result is a functional wasp trap that's both effective and visually appealing.
