Deltic Engine

I plan to reconstruct an innovative deltic engine, which is characterized by its 2-stroke, opposed-piston design in a distinctive delta configuration. Notably, it reached peak power of 3100 hp at 2100 rpm for patrolling boats, making it highly impressive. It was also employed in the renowned Class 55 "Deltic" locomotive. For further insights into engine types and other related information, refer to the following resources: http://www.npht.org/deltic/4579702653, http://www.modelenginenews.org/etw/deltec.html, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napier_Deltic. Additionally, http://www.ptfnasty.com/ptfDeltic3.html offers valuable details on the Deltic engine. To supplement this information, I have gathered several images from various sources: http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/antique-machinery-history/deltic-engine-details-photos-115098/, http://s3.photobucket.com/user/Asquith1/media/Deltic04.jpg.html, and http://www.napier-chronicles.co.uk/power_unit_7.htm. Despite my efforts, I am uncertain about the correctness of certain aspects within the inner piston part and would greatly appreciate any assistance from experienced individuals. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I am currently unable to proceed with the project, and I remain uncertain about the mounting of cylinder liners. Additionally, I can't help but admire the complexity of the engine block.
