Human: Firstly, before you get too excited - THIS THING IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AND DOES NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED.\nCheck out my working Delta leveling system: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2124667\nPrint Settings\nRafts: Doesn't Matter\n \n Supports: Doesn't Matter\n \n Resolution: 0.2 will be sufficient\n \n Infill: 100%\n \n Notes: I printed 100% infill, because I wanted it to be as strong as possible.\nPost-Printing\nFor a long time I have struggled to get my Delta endstops right and bed leveled. Then my lab bought UM2 printer which had this rather nice bed levelling system with springs and I thought it would be really cool if I could level my Delta the same way.\nHow I Designed This\nI planned to use my purple hexagon shaped heated bed as a levelling platform, it even had holes in the right places. I printed out six pairs of platform supports and thumbwheels (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:641854). From one of my previous projects I happened to have an assortment of springs (from ebay: http://goo.gl/2nZCJ9) where I got suitable springs to support the platform.\nFor fixing mounts to the heated bed I had to use common M3 bolts, nuts and washers, mainly because the holes in the purple hexagonal heated bed were about that size and I did not want to drill them to a bigger size.\nAnd finally you will need 6X M4 bolts and nuts for mounting it to the printer frame.\n\n \n \n Custom Section\nWhen everything was assembled and mounted on the printer I found out the harsh truth - heated bed does not slide very well with the threaded M3 bolts and gets often stuck. That caused some bending of the pcb (heated bed) so the outcome was even more distorted heated bed. So I scrapped the project and moved back to old heated bed holders.\nFuture perspective would be to design this thing with only three levelling points and hope it will work better.\nSome time later I discovered this amazing webpage which makes levelling your Delta a piece of cake even without any bed levelling option: http://escher3d.com/pages/wizards/wizarddelta.php
