Hello, this is a quick-change system for objects that need to be fixed to the wall. I designed it with FreeCAD. It was important to me that it can be printed easily and without support material, whereby the object which is fastened to the wall can be printed both standing and lying. I have used the system in the following products: - soap holder - Toothbrush cup holder - Wall mounting box - Shaving brush holder and I have planned an insert for the following product: - Toilet paper dispenser The quick-release plate is fixed with 3 to 4mm countersunk screws or glued to a wall with double-sided adhesive tape. It is important that the drying time of the tape is kept, depending on the adhesive can last up to 72 hours or 3 days, and the surface should be free of dust and grease. The pin is glued in with a drop of epoxy resin. Alternatively, it would also be possible to construct a screw connection. To the explanation of the system serves the small video. I would be happy if you create a remix with this system and if you announce it here. Update 1.1 (05.02.2019): - I made some design improvements on the quick-change plates, so they work reliably even in longer systems (like wall box 2.0). Update 1.2 (21.07.2019): - The cylinder now has a small cone that prevents it from being pulled out forward. This was possible in previous versions by tilting the object upwards and bypassing the locking mechanism, which is no longer possible with the current version. - I removed the purely adhesive quick-change plate as it proved to be somewhat weak over time. I would be very happy if you could make a small donation or send me a picture of your print, and feel free to visit my other designs.
