On small 3D printers, printing a full-size face shield is nearly impossible due to limited print area constraints. However, this part can be printed on a 12x12cm printing surface in about 15-20 minutes, weighing only 3 grams. Adding a plastic strip enhances production speed while ensuring a comfortable shield for extended labor periods. Assembly instructions are available online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlWqzlaOHK0. An update note: This design utilizes a U.S. standard acetate letter sheet with punch holes formatted according to local standards. Feedback suggests that a thin sheet offers better performance than a thicker PET option, primarily due to reduced weight and enhanced acoustic isolation. However, the choice ultimately depends on specific application requirements. Many users requested additional support for the upper corners and cutting of lower corners. A standard paper clip works effectively, but I opted to design a minimalist version to minimize volume while maintaining aesthetics. Please scale the model to match precisely with the punch holes. Later, after producing over 100 units, I refined the design by creating a new clip-bluckle to reduce elastic length and assembly time.
