deLtabot 3D printer
thingiverse
This project features a Rostock-inspired 3D printer design with various updates and parts, including an added effector cap for an E3D hotend mount, filament feeder from Thingiverse, 'effector_j-head_top,' 'diagonal_rod_fix,' and a new direct extruder on the effector's top. The printer utilizes main parts such as IKEA LANTLIV Plant movers, Nema23 motors (Nema17 is also compatible), Nema23 mounting L-brackets, GT2 20 teeth pulleys, GT2 timing belts, LM10 linear ball bushings, SK10 shaft support blocks, SA6T/K ball rod ends, F605ZZ (F605) flange bearings, and 6x8mm aluminium tubes. The assembly process requires checking the symmetry of holes in plant movers before assembling the shaft mounting parts, and using a centering device to mount the shaft support blocks. Marlin-deltabot settings include adjustments for segment speed, diagonal rod length, smooth rod offset, effector offset, and carriage offset. Special thanks are given to Alexander (Radus) and Russ Gries for their contributions. Check out the project video on http://youtu.be/Zh0OgjKmn-M and visit GrabCad for SolidWorks 2013 files.
