Delta Wing motor mount (1806, 2204, 2205+) with foam grip
thingiverse
I upgraded the design to include a lip that fits snugly into foam. I've been using it on my Rainbow wing from banggood.com and it's a game-changer. The motor mount is great, but with this modification, it's perfect for gluing in place with Welder's glue. It works flawlessly with standard "quadcopter" motors in size 1806, 2204, 2205, etc. Initially, I printed the part in PETG, but unfortunately, it cracked due to a bad batch of filament. Thankfully, reprinting it in eSUN PLA+ yielded fantastic results - no issues whatsoever with this material for this specific part. **Print Settings:** * Printer: Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 * Rafts: No rafts needed * Supports: None required * Resolution: 0.2 mm for optimal performance * Infill: A minimum of 50% is recommended **Notes:** Feel free to experiment with your favorite filament - I've had great results with PETG and PLA+. If you're looking to print faster, try increasing the resolution (0.3 etc.) without compromising on walls or infill (at least 4x walls and 50% infill).
