The mounts are designed to elevate the heated bed from its base by 12mm, creating a safe distance between the stepper motors and the electronics beneath the bed. My original design utilized only M3 screws, which is not ideal for mounting on the 2020 aluminum rail. The new design employs M4 screws, making it easy to slot an M4 square nut into the 2020 aluminum rail in order to mount the base securely. Additionally, the new design features an embedded M3 nut, ensuring that the thread for the clip remains firmly in place even after repeated removal and installation. The base is mounted using a single screw, allowing for effortless adjustments to achieve a tighter fit. You can print the bed without clips if you prefer to maximize the print area. A minimum of 3 sets are required; however, up to 6 sets can be used for even more secure mounting. Materials included in each set: * M4 x10MM screws (1) * M4 square nuts (1) * M3 x8MM screws (1, with a maximum length of 12mm) * M3 hex nuts (1) To embed the M3 nuts, print the base in two stages. You will need to manually edit your slicer's generated G-code to pause at 12mm, allowing you to insert the M3 nut into the print. Installation Instructions: 1. Insert an M4 nut into the 2020 rail slot. 2. Align and screw the base to the M4 nut using an M4 screw, but do not tighten yet. 3. Perform a dry fit and adjust the bases according to the bed's dimensions. 4. Tighten the M4 screws when you find the correct alignment. 5. Install the clips using M3 screws.
