Delta Printer 2020 Frame Reinforcement That Works: A fully optimized (for 230mm diagonal Delta) corner/frame add-on diagonal stabilization element is needed. It requires two M4x16, six M4x12 screws and T-nuts. The T-nuts can retract where necessary into this part to slide the part on the frame with ease from outside. Build in slots for T-nuts to snap on without disassembly. The final parts were printed in PLA-Carbon! Added side arm only variants, L and R versions are good for bottom frame re-enforcements where there may be power supply and spool holders colliding otherwise. Put three of those on all top corners for superior stability, make sure all T-nuts engage correctly. Simply pre-mount all, align and slide in. Tighten the "top side" T-nuts first. A note on those unused larger 4 no-through holes: Future use for accessories/cover mount is possible. Can take M6 thread/screw (not yet available). May also add to bottom corners, but may need to make room for them... Added few images of the completed Delta frame re-enforcements. Four 6mm and three 8mm M4 screws plus T-nuts total later with 3+6 attached corner diagonals: Rock solid now! Final note: if you care about the absolute max printing radius at build plate level, watch/check the gap of the effector at the six bottom re-enforcements, you may lose a few mm at those positions depending on the actual effector design. I may just be able to touch them at max reach. Should be possible to remove a bit material in a next revision...
