Delta PMZ24V Power Supply Cover (Prusa i3 MK3)
thingiverse
This is a replacement top cover for a Delta PMZ-24V Power Supply, which is the newer Black colored power supply shipped with Prusa i3 MK3 3D printers. The reason I designed this was that upon moving the power supply out of my Lack Enclosure and using the default power supply mounting bracket supplied with the V2 Lack Enclosure, it appeared that the power supply wasn't ventilating well. This cover does two things: 1. It makes the main panel of the cover a nicer and more ventilating honeycomb pattern. 2. It has mounts for a fan (60mm in the current .stl file but configurable in the .scad file). One consideration you should be aware of is that this cover, being made of plastic (PETG suggested), provides zero electromagnetic shielding so you may want to understand this if you feel that EMI will affect your surrounding PI or other electronics. I don't think it will, but I have no data on how well these Delta Power Supplies are with their internal shielding. Both the OpenSCAD file and a rendered .stl file are uploaded here. Final Note: I haven't printed this yet but I encourage you to download the .scad file and experiment from there on fit and customization for the fan. The fan mounts can be removed if you're not interested in that feature.
