Delta-Pi RAMPS Slide-In Holder

Delta-Pi RAMPS Slide-In Holder

thingiverse

This is an ingenious slide-in holder for the RAMPS, which allows for effortless mounting of Arduino, RAMPS, Pololu carrier boards, or fan stack directly onto the underside of Delta-Pi plywood or MDF bases. The holder expertly cradles the RAMPS stack in place, firmly locking it into position without any risk of slipping out. Clearly evident in the last two photographs is how this holder can be applied to create a custom-fit system for your unique setup - such as my personal use with the Delta-Pi base. A fusion of existing design and innovation, this slide-in RAMPS holder owes its origins to an earlier version - namely P3Steel - but with key modifications incorporated for better results. Specifically, I replaced metal screws with sturdy wood screws that can secure it to various surfaces effectively. All the technical details required to recreate or improve this piece are laid out within the OpenSCAD source code, enabling easy remixing as needed. Print it using blue PLA filament and take advantage of its user-friendly design; the low bridging risk combined with minimal overhanging requirements make for an effortless printing experience. Upon completion, securely attach this unit to any wooden surface with just four strategically placed wood screws for long-lasting stability
