I wanted to add more light exactly where the printing was happening, so after countless iterations, I finally found a combination that works for both cooling and lighting effectively. To achieve this, I used two 4020S blower fans, which are powered by a PWM variable supply. This allows me to better determine where the cooling is needed and how much airflow is required, giving me more control than any firmware or slicer could. Meanwhile, the standard axial 40mm cooling fan keeps the hot end heat sink cool itself, ensuring optimal performance. Note that I only use E3D V5 hot ends, as V6's are significantly smaller in height, heat sink, and heater block, making them incompatible with my current mount setup.
