Delta G2S Configuration for Repetier Firmware
thingiverse
This isn't a printable document, it's a launchpad for running Repetier-Firmware on the Geeetech Delta G2S printer. My printer is operating flawlessly with this firmware, a lot smoother than the old Marlin setup, plus a slew of new features to boot. Give it a whirl! To get started: Head over to https://www.repetier.com/firmware/dev/index.php Upload the enclosed .json file as your "old" configuration. Complete the configuration tool steps, fine-tuning where necessary to match YOUR printer's unique specs. At the end of the process, select "Download complete firmware" to retrieve the entire firmware package (.zip file). Compile and upload it to your printer just like you would with Marlin. Any further tweaks should be made via the online configuration tool from now on. Avoid editing your Configuration.h file directly. Important notes: Pay close attention to the diagram that illustrates how to measure dimensions of your printer. Some of these may differ slightly from what was used in Marlin. Extruder offsets are handled entirely within the firmware. Enter ZERO offsets in your slicer and Repetier-Host configurations accordingly. This firmware is still under active development, so if you happen to download a copy that won't compile, just try again after a couple of days. Chances are the issue will have been resolved by then. Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Repetier in any way; I'm simply a satisfied user who's happy to share my experience with this firmware. Update: At present, I highly recommend using the "development" version. You can still upload my posted json file as your starting configuration.
